Do there turbos require a tuner? I just want to replace a bad factory turbo. A mild upgrade would be nice.

My driver side turbo is bad. Might as replace both. Just looking for a reliable replacement. Some performance improvement would be good. Plan is to keep everything "stock". No tuning or other upgrades.
Will these turbos work with the factory ECM?

The AVP Stage 1 Performance Twin Turbo Kit is fully compatible with a stock setup, eliminating the need for additional tuning. While not obligatory, we do suggest enhancing your air intake upon installation to maximize the turbo kit's performance.
